09 Dec Pastel Drawing Class at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
This weekend learn about various types of pastels different surfaces they can be used on and their special characteristics . Explore two modes of pastel application: one closer to drawing and the other to painting. On Day 2, explore a technique using an underlayer in gouache or watercolour. Each project will be unique since you pick your own photograph to work on.
When: Saturday December 10 and Sunday December 11, 2016 from 9:30am- 4:30pm ( 6 hour class )

Materials
Basic supplies such as pencils, some drawing materials, and some standard papers can be supplied by the Museum. A few acrylic paint colours and watercolours (student quality) are available in case of emergency. However, you must buy your own materials, including all specialized materials and quality papers and paint surfaces. A list of materials will be sent to you about a week before the class starts.
